The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to oversee up to 10 live sites across Manchester and London. This is a hands-on role, requiring regular site visits, close collaboration with project teams, and ensuring all activities meet legal and company safety standards.
As Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust Health & Safety policies and procedures across multiple sites.
Carrying out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Ensuring adherence to NEBOSH, CPP, and other relevant safety standards.
Providing advice and guidance to site managers, supervisors, and operatives.
Monitoring and reporting on safety performance, incidents, and near misses.
Supporting project teams in delivering safe and compliant works on projects ranging from 50k - 2M.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Health & Safety Manager will have:
NEBOSH qualification (Construction or General) and CPP certification.
Proven experience managing Health & Safety across multiple sites in commercial or construction projects.
Strong understanding of RAMS preparation and implementation.
Ability to conduct regular site visits and inspections confidently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities across sites.
